NEW SONG SATURDAY: DOXOLOGY #2

Posted 4 years ago by Anne

"I will sing to the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live."

Psalm 104:33

Continuing with our “Doxology” theme, we have another rendition of this classic hymn for this week’s New Song Saturday.

There are days when I get homesick. Not for the house I grew up in, or my hometown (though that happens too), but for a home I haven’t seen yet. There is a call deep in the heart of every person to find that home, and as Christians, we know it is with Jesus. There will be a day when we see Him face to face, but sometimes it can get lonely in the waiting.

Thankfully, He has given us the ability to commune with Him through prayer, His Word, and through worship. James 4:8 says “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you”, and Psalm 104:33 says “I will sing to the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.”

While we may not see Him on this side of Heaven, we can experience closeness with Him when we keep our hearts in a posture of praise. With that in mind, we hope you enjoy this version of the Doxology.
