"And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, 'This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.' And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, 'This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood.'"
Luke 22:19 - 20
There are many different types of songs used in church services. We’ve already included songs that could be used as a call to worship, an altar call, and more. Today’s song is called “I Will Remember”, and it was written specifically with communion in mind.
Inspired by Jesus’ call to “Do this in remembrance of me”, it is a song of gratitude to Jesus for the sacrifice He made for us on the cross (1 Peter 2:24). We hope this song will help lead you into worship during communion, a Good Friday Service, or any time to simply thank God for His great love for us! (1 John 4:10; John 3:16)
Enjoy the song!
